The majority of Primary first teaching appointments in Hounslow schools are made through our 'Primary Pool.' This service, managed by the Teacher Recruitment Team is accessible to all Hounslow Primary Schools and Headteachers are involved in all stages of the recruitment process
Hounslow has built a solid reputation for the quality of support, advice and training offered to those starting their teaching careers, central to this being our Induction Programme. OFSTED praised Hounslow for its monitoring, support and assessment of NQTs and we continue to improve our NQT provision.
