The Leading Edge Partnership programme is a Standards Scheme organised and accredited by the DfES. It builds on the success and knowledge about collaborative practice gained from the previous Beacon Schools programme. The Partnership supports groups of secondary schools, including special schools, to work together to tackle some of the most intractable barriers to raising standards.
Schools within these partnerships will be committed to working collaboratively to design, develop, test and share innovative ideas to raise standards of teaching and learning where improvement is most urgently needed. Lampton is the leading school in a Leading Edge Partnership with Feltham Community College, Chiswick Community School and Springwell Junior School. The Partnership will operate as a mini-collegiate with Lampton as the co-ordinating partner. Lampton Schools is a Specialist in Humanities and also a recognised Training School.
